Job description

Have you completed an MBO level 4 education in electrical engineering, and do you have experience with electrical installations and a background in the lift industry? Do you enjoy working independently and are you not afraid to take on technical challenges?

As an Electrical Engineer in Research and Development, you will be jointly responsible for developing test systems. You will design systems for testing modules used in the lift industry. Additionally, you will create test procedures that allow Technical Engineers to operate the systems independently. The work takes place in a clean environment, where safety and quality are of the highest priority.

What will you do?

  • Design and build test systems used to test modules from the lift industry;

  • Support and contribute to R&D projects with a focus on lift technology;

  • Maintain and update mechanical and electrical drawings of test systems;

  • Develop test procedures;

  • Support technical departments with issues related to lift systems and test equipment.

What do we offer?

  • A full-time position (38 hours per week) with excellent employment conditions in an international service organization.

  • Collegiality, an informal work atmosphere, and room for personal input.

  • A high degree of independence and responsibility.

  • The opportunity to work for one of the largest international companies in Friesland.

  • A competitive salary and an extensive pension scheme with no personal contribution required.

  • Flexible working hours, which you can schedule between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

  • 25 vacation days for a full-time position, with time-for-time hours for overtime that can be used (in consultation with your supervisor) on a sunny day, for example.

  •  A generous travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer.

  • Access to the company restaurant for a small fee, offering fresh smoothies, a daily changing warm meal prepared by our in-house chef.

  • Opportunities for training and education as part of your (personal) development.

  • An active employee association with 3 to 4 outings per year and a monthly Friday afternoon social event.
