What will you be doing?

As a 2nd Team Leader Pre-Maintenance, you play a crucial role in the repair and overhaul process at UNIS Group. Your main responsibility is the preventive replacement of time-sensitive electronic components, following prescribed work instructions. Your precision and technical expertise ensure that production processes run smoothly and customers receive optimal service.

Additionally, you are flexible and take on the role of 2nd Team Leader Pre-Maintenance when the Team Leader is absent. In this role, you ensure that the team continues to function effectively and that objectives are met. You also collaborate with the Team Leader to determine strategic direction and drive process improvements.

  • Replacing electronic components (conventional and SMD) according to work instructions.

  • Accurately documenting completed tasks in the system.

  • Working according to safety regulations and quality standards.

  • Identifying and resolving bottlenecks within processes and across the department.

  • Assisting in the coordination and planning of department tasks.

  • Acting as a point of contact for colleagues and management.

  • Supervising and coaching employees during the absence of the Team Leader.

  • Ensuring compliance with UNIS Group policies.

Job requirements

What are we asking of you?

  • A completed MBO-level education in a relevant technical field.

  • Affinity with industrial electronics; knowledge and experience in a similar role is a plus.

  • Reliability and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Enthusiasm, flexibility, and resilience under pressure.

  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages.

  • Strong knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.

  • Familiarity with applicable procedures, safety, and environmental regulations.
