Job description

For our branch in Northampton (UK), we are looking for an Commercial General Manager to drive the further growth of UNIS Group UK.

Are you a natural leader who knows how to bring out the best in people? Do you combine excellent commercial skills with a proven ability to lead teams and achieve ambitious objectives? If so, you might be the General Manager we are looking for.

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for the daily management of the entire branch. Your goal is not only to achieve the projected revenue and repair figures annually but also to expand the branch further. You will actively manage and support the Sales Manager and work closely with Account Managers to maintain and develop key accounts. Additionally, you will focus on fostering engagement, initiative, and quality within your team.

 

What will you do?

  • Manage the daily operations of UNIS Group Northampton (UK), overseeing both the sales department and the technical team.

  • Use your leadership skills to bring out the best in a team of approximately 18 employees in Northampton. You will be directly responsible for 2 team leaders and indirectly oversee Repair Engineers, Sales Representatives, and Sales Administration employees across various departments. Additionally, you will support the Sales Manager, who is located in the Netherlands, while collaborating with Account Managers to develop and maintain key accounts.

  • Initiate, implement, and coordinate sales plans and activities in consultation with the headquarters in the Netherlands.

  • Report on the progress of operations to the CEO.

  • Initiate and implement improvement processes to optimize operations.

  • Monitor individual goals and guide the personal development of team members.

  • Actively contribute to the team’s success in achieving set objectives.

  • The ability to lead effective discussions, solve problems efficiently, and make well-informed decisions.

  • Proficiency in English, spoken and written, is required.
