Job description

Are you a solutions-oriented individual who enjoys being on the road (within Europe) and sees service challenges as opportunities? Do you have extensive experience in maintaining industrial automation systems? Then become our new colleague!

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be an expert in industrial automation. You will work within a team of experienced technicians, where your primary responsibilities include locating defective modules and quickly resolving issues. You will operate independently, with (remote) support from our Grou office, and work collaboratively with customers to arrive at suitable solutions. Clear communication is essential in this role.


What You Will Do

  • Configure, test, commission, and provide on-site service.
  • Submit defective modules for repair to our repair department.
  • Advise customers on improvements related to their systems.
  • Assess customers' installed industrial electronics and compile risk analyses.
  • Handle the administrative processing of your work within our information system.

Job requirements

What We Ask From You

  • A completed technical degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Control Technology.
  • Proven experience in machine building and/or industrial automation.
  • A strong ambition to provide the best possible service to customers.
  • Sufficient knowledge and experience in English and German.
  • A valid driver's license (category B) and a VCA certificate.
  • Flexibility, resilience under stress, entrepreneurial spirit, and a customer-friendly attitude.
  • A service-oriented mindset with a smile.
