Job description

As an HR Officer, the HR administration is in trusted hands with you. You manage various tasks related to employee onboarding, progression, and offboarding. You tackle processes that can be made more efficient, and you are an expert in NMBRS.

You will work alongside the Senior HR Advisor, HR Advisors, Recruiter, and Case Manager. We are looking for an HR Officer to expand our team. There have been some changes within the team recently, which is why we are looking for someone who wants to become a permanent part of the HR team.

What will you be doing?

  • Creating contracts, letters, addenda, and ensuring that (digital) personnel files are in order.

  • As mentioned, you are the expert in NMBRS; this is your area of expertise. You ensure that NMBRS is configured in the most efficient way, so it can be used optimally.

  • Maintaining close contact with payroll administration regarding changes and payments.

  • Collaborating with colleagues from various departments to ensure that new employees have a smooth start (onboarding).

  • If you see things that can be improved, you take action (together with your colleagues) to address them!

What Can We Offer You?

  • A full-time position (38 hours per week) with competitive employment benefits at an international service organization.

  • Collegiality, an informal work atmosphere, and room for personal input.

  • A high degree of independence and responsibility.

  • The opportunity to work at one of the largest international companies in Friesland.

  • A competitive salary and a comprehensive pension plan with no employee contribution.

  • Flexibility to plan your working hours between 07:00 and 19:00.

  • 25 vacation days for a full-time position, with the option to earn additional time off for overtime, which can be discussed with your manager for use on, for example, a summer day.

  • A travel expense reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometer.

  • The opportunity to have lunch in the company restaurant for a small fee, including fresh smoothies, a daily changing hot dish prepared by our chef.

  • Opportunities for training and education for personal development.

  • An active staff association organizing outings 3 to 4 times a year and a monthly Friday afternoon gathering.

Job requirements

What are we asking of you?

  • You are available full-time, but part-time can be discussed.

  • At least a completed MBO degree in HR or proven work experience.

  • Experience working with NMBRS and Microsoft Office.

  • Strong in administration and communication. You know how to ask the right questions to perform your work effectively.

  • Familiarity with laws and regulations and the ability to apply them to contracts, letters, and (internal) communication.

  • An energetic personality who is proactive and ensures tasks are completed accurately by engaging the right people.

  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
